Aeromexico Company Description
Consorcio Aeromexico can exchange your pesos for air travel. As a leading airline in Mexico, the company owns about 40 aircraft, offering services from 30 domestic and nearly 20 international destinations. Its domestic carrier, Aerolitoral, owns a fleet of more than 30 turboprop airlines. Aeromexico is a member of the SkyTeam marketing alliance, and in mid-2007 it signed a code-sharing agreement with Copa Airlines. (Code-sharing allows airlines to sell tickets on one another's flights and thus extend their networks.) Aeromexico is owned by the Mexican government.
