Aegek Company Description
Many construction projects are under the aegis of AEGEK. One of Greece's largest construction and civil engineering companies, AEGEK specializes in public, municipal, and private construction projects and has completed bridges, dams, tunnels, hydroelectric facilities, irrigation systems, ports, and roads. The group was involved in constructing several projects for the 2004 Athens Olympics. It is also leading a railway project that will include the construction of 13 state-of-the-art stations for the Athens Metro public transportation system. With a boost from Greek post-WWII reconstruction, AEGEK was founded in 1950.
