Aedes Company Description
Aedes invests in and manages residential, commercial, and industrial real estate. Its holdings include apartments and other residential properties, hotels, car parks, garages, and ground-floor retail locations. The portfolio is located throughout Italy, predominantly in the northern regions of Lombardia, Piemonte, and the central region of Lazio. Carlo De Benedetti, chairman of conglomerates COFIDE and CIR, is one of a handful of owners Aedes has had in the past; it was once part of holding company Bonaparte and Italian pension fund Cassa di Risparmio delle Province Lombarde (Cariplo), which is part of IntesaBci.
