Overview

ADTRAN turns copper into gold. The company offers about 1,800 network access products and systems used to enable Internet access, telephony, data transport, and video over voice and data networks, from traditional copper wire to optical. ADTRAN sells its switches, routers, and multiplexing systems to wireline and wireless carriers and service providers, such as AT&T, Qwest, and Verizon. Its enterprise networking equipment ranges from modems to larger integrated access devices intended for multiple users, access routers, multiplexers, firewalls, and radio equipment. The company sells directly and through a network of distributors. Almost all sales are in the US.
