ADD Company Description
This federal agency ADDs to the quality of life of some 4.5 million Americans with developmental disabilities. Part of the Department of Health and Human Services and its Administration for Children and Families, the Administration on Developmental Disabilities (ADD) oversees the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000. The act includes four grant programs that help increase the independence of developmentally disabled residents. Grant funding helps cover education and early intervention, child care, health, employment, and housing, among other issues.
