Overview

ADB was acquired by German industrial mammoth Siemens AG in 1987, and has been a part of Siemens Industry's Mobility division. The company makes the products that illuminate approach zones, aprons, main runways, and taxiways. From the largest freight hub in the world to small regional airports, ADB's products can be found in virtually any airport. Other products include externally lighted wind cones, guidance and control monitoring systems, and cables and connectors. ADB also acts as a turnkey contractor for a variety of airport projects. Montagu Private Equity acquired ADB in November 2009.
