ACME Communications Company Description
ACME Communications' relationship with Warner Bros. has nothing to do with a wily coyote, rockets, or any other explosives. The company owns and operates a half dozen television stations in midsized markets in five states, most of which are affiliated with The CW Network, a joint venture between Time Warner's Warner Bros. Entertainment and CBS Corporation. It also has one station that is affiliated with MyNetworkTV, a network owned by News Corp. Both networks focus on programming skewed towards younger audiences. In addition to its stations, ACME Communications produces a syndicated morning program called The Daily Buzz that airs on about 140 stations.
