European regulators OK clear Endesa deal [Canadian Press DataFile](16 Jun 2008 00:01:00 EDT)BRUSSELS, Belgium _ The European Commission on Monday cleared Italian energy giant Enel SpA and Spanish engineering group Acciona SA to buy Spanish power company Endesa SA. The EU executive ad cleared the acquisition in 2007 but had to grant new approval after the two companies changed the scope of assets to be transferred to Germany's E.ON AG.
