American Builders & Contractors Supply Co. (better known as ABC Supply) has put roofs over millions of heads. A leading supplier of roofing, siding, windows, gutters, doors, and other exterior building products, ABC Supply operates about 380 outlets in 46 states and the District of Columbia. It carries its own brand of products under the Amcraft name, as well as offering products from outside vendors. The privately-held company, which markets its products mostly to small and medium-sized professional contractors, was founded in 1982 by its former chairman and CEO the late Ken Hendricks, the son of a roofer.
