Abatix Company Description
Abatix helps companies clean up. Through eight US distribution centers, Abatix supplies more than 22,000 personal protection and safety products to environmental contractors, construction companies, and industrial safety companies. Abatix's products are used by workers involved in cleanup projects such as asbestos and lead abatement and mold remediation. The company imports protective clothing through subsidiary International Enviroguard Systems (IESI). Abatix serves some 4,000 customers primarily located in the Southeast, Southwest, Midwest, Pacific Coast, and Alaska and Hawaii. CEO Terry Shaver owns about 30% of Abatix.
