Brothers Steven and Robert Malin (chairman and vice chairman, respectively) and their sister Linda own more than 40% of the firm. In 2007 Robert Malin and two former officers of A.B. Watley, among others, were acquitted of charges of with securities fraud for allegedly communicating institutional trade orders to other brokerages.
