247MGI (formerly Total Identity Corporation or TMI Holdings) may be having an identity crisis of its own. Although in the past it generally acquired businesses related to advertising and marketing, the company is now trying to emerge as a full service multimedia company. After shedding several of its primary operations in 2006 -- it shut down Sovereign Research LLC, which provided research reports and annual reports, and its Yard Sale Drop Off (YDSO) subsidiary, which served as a sales facilitator of items on eBay -- 247MGI in 2007 set its sights on providing Internet radio and TV transmission services. It also plans to offer Web site design and hosting services. CEO Matthew Dwyer owns 85% of the company.
