The company is one of the largest providers of installation and integration services for home entertainment, communications, and security systems in the US; it also does business in Canada. 180 Connect provides satellite installation and maintenance services from more than 80 locations through contracts with cable and broadband communications providers; most of its business comes from services provided to US broadcast satellite leader DIRECTV. Other clients have included Rogers Communications and Time Warner Cable. 180 Connect was acquired by The DIRECTV Group for about $46 million in 2008.
