Ülker Company Description
The name Ülker Bisküvi Sanayi is kind of a mouthful and it's on some pretty tasty stuff. The Turkish company's main division produces chocolates, cakes, cookies, and crackers. (It offers 160 brands of chocolate, biscuits, and candy and 2,700 different varieties.) Ülker Bisküvi also makes flour, butter, cooking oils, and fats and starches. It also manufactures its own boxes and other packaging material, which comes in handy as its products are exported to more than 100 countries worldwide. Yildiz Holding owns 42% of the Ülker Bisküvi; the UEB Dynamic Growth Fund owns about 27%; and the founding Ülker family owns approximately 5%.
